About Pack 1199 Cub Scouts
NORTHERN NEW JERSEY COUNCIL
Cub Scouts Pack 1199 is a part of the Northern New Jersey Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Our chartered organization is the Maywood American Legion Post 142, 135 East Passaic Street, Maywood, NJ.
Joining the Cub Scouts is a lot more than just camping, fishing trips and outings. From the values taught through the Scout Oath & Scout Law, Scouting also fosters citizenship, builds self-esteem, teaches Scouts that they are part of a bigger world and builds friendships. Scouting is also about family. In today’s world, it can be difficult spending time as a family. Moms, dads, brothers, sisters, friends and family are welcome to participate in most den and all Pack events. Scouting is fun with a purpose!
